Brilliant advice. You win some kind of award. Don't worry, it's in the mail.

No need to be rude just because it is OP.

Standard to cbet/fold the ace high flop, but I would probably check behind and draw.

yea, stop ripping on the guy for making posts. (omg some people dont play poker as well as you guys think you do, better make fun of them! -- granted, this guy has a pretty arrogant attitude aswell, but still, be the bigger person)

as for the hand, i probably bet-fold, but i guess checking behind and betting if checked to is alright.

b/f or check back there's not really much of difference between the two.

I like b/f a lot more than check behind

I don't like preflop, but we've discussed this and i'm still not sure if your chip outlay is out of proportion to a reasonable expectation.

Any reads? Does opponent check-raise a lot? If so, I'm inclined to check behind. Without reads I assume opponent to follow "standard" procedures so c-betting and repping the ace would be my move.

I think in this spot bet>check, since it's the chipleader of the table that called you, his range is wider than it would be if it was BB calling you, and with the ace on the board you have good chance to take it down. BTW, I don't like pflop, you are trying to steal with a 3.5 BB bet with no ante, I think you put too much for trying to steal just 1.5 BB. Though you don't have a big stack your steal attempt won't provide a great increase in your M. I think there's no need to hurry yet.
