college internet access

hey,
i'm about to buy a macbook pro. i'm trying to figure out if i'll be able to play on any poker sites through my college wireless network. i play on ongame. they have a java-based game client which you can play on.

Wow private universities are rough... I thought that java just went through standard http streams that you college provides... Have fun in Dublin.

I am at Bristol, UWE and looking for a site that I can play on their internet...

I have bought a USB mobile broadband modem but cant get this to work as of yet, plus it is expensive. Any ideas?
