nl200 Button versus blinds situation with AK
Im sorry if this has been asked before. Would be nice if someone could help. Very basic situation in 6-max nl200. You have sat down on table and played few rounds and been fairly active but not getting out of the line at all. Raising few hands and 3-betting from blinds to button/co raises couple of times. So..everyone folds to you and you get AKo to button and you raise, solid regular with big stack from small blind 3-bets (who knows I dont have to have that good of a hand for button raise,no other reads) you decide to 4-bet. He shoves. Now my question is with what amount you are willing to put it all in and with what you'll fold, whats your standard?
ps. I had 135bb when this actually happened.. |

Re: nl200 Button versus blinds situation with AK
Once you 4bet (to I imagine 80 or so) you cannot fold to a shove at 135bb given this situation.

Re: nl200 Button versus blinds situation with AK
Thanks for answers. I didnt fold but that really wasnt my question.. My question was about the stack sizes with what you are willing to go with it and with how deep stack you'll fold. Maybe it was bad post but I hope there are also other donks like me who actually dont know the answer.. And obviously theres no standard rule in button versus blinds battles but some sort of advice maybe..

Re: nl200 Button versus blinds situation with AK
If you have the option to fold, once you 4-bettet, with 135bb, your raising size sucks.
If you're deeper and you consider 4-bet/fold, don't 4-bet. |
