Default Rank the NFL Divisions

This is something to consider in fantasy drafts when it comes down to picking between two middle of the road players. Obv you want the player (if both are a toss up) who plays in the weaker division. So lets rank....

Here is a list of each division:

AFC East
Miami Dolphins
New York Jets
New England Patriots
Buffalo Bills

AFC North
Pittsburgh Steelers
Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns
Cincinnati Bengals

AFC South
Tennessee Titans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts

AFC West
Oakland Raiders
Denver Broncos
San Diego Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs

NFC East
Dallas Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
New York Giants

NFC North
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

NFC South
Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints
Carolina Panthers

NFC West
Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Rams
Arizona Cardinals

List Toughest to Easiest

Maybe. I dunno. Really this is irrelevant; you should be looking at the player's entire schedule with regard to the defenses they play and what position they play. For example, an NFC North RB has to play the Vikings twice which is bad, but it's ok for a WR/QB because the Vikings' pass defense is terrible.

Yah. Also the Bengals are part of what makes the AFC North "tough" but their defense stinks.
Playing 1/4 of his games vs. the Steelers/Ravens has to hurt a guy like Rudi Johnson though.

This is not really true at all. It is a major factor in picking a defense though.

AFC North is overrated. Bengals were a .500 team that missed the playoffs last year. They are definitely talented and can play with anyone, but until they win some playoff games they're not a true contender. Steelers have a first year head coach, and first year coaches (esp. w/no prior HC experience) traditionally struggle a bit. Ravens aren't getting any younger, and McGahee is going to be a bust for them. Browns obviously aren't really competitive.

Oh, and yah, this isn't that useful for fantasy, but it's still fun to talk about.

Perhaps, but so is pretty much everything else in this forum. Sports fans come here to blow off steam and talk about stuff that doesn't really matter all that much. I really don't see how this is more irrelevant than anything else here. (Not a slight at the forum in any way.)

Surprised people have AFC South as such a good division. After the Colts it's all garbage. Texans are obv a joke, Jaguars will never go anywhere with that group of joke QBs, and I really think the Titans caught a flash in the pan luck streak for a stretch last year. They just don't have that much talent, and teams will get used to scheming for VY.
