Folding A Straight? 1/2
Sorry, I tried a converter but it just messed up the hand history.
Holdem No Limit $2 - 2007-10-04 16:43:17 (ET) Seat 5 - NIKITIS ($79 in chips) Seat 6 - TOPHER318 ($322.70 in chips) Seat 1 - DAMAGEDMINDZ ($382.80 in chips) Seat 2 - LOOTOMO ($212.12 in chips) Seat 3 - HERO ($228.20 in chips) Seat 4 - MADRISKY ($595.36 in chips) TOPHER318 - Posts small blind $1 DAMAGEDMINDZ - Posts big blind $2 *** POCKET CARDS *** Dealt to HERO [9c 8s] LOOTOMO - Calls $2 HERO - Calls $2 MADRISKY - Calls $2 NIKITIS - Folds TOPHER318 - Calls $1 DAMAGEDMINDZ - Checks *** FLOP *** [5d 6d 7d] TOPHER318 - Checks DAMAGEDMINDZ - Checks LOOTOMO - Bets $5 HERO - Calls $5 MADRISKY - Calls $5 TOPHER318 - Folds DAMAGEDMINDZ - Folds *** TURN *** [5d 6d 7d] [5s] LOOTOMO - Checks HERO - Bets $15 MADRISKY - Folds LOOTOMO - Raises $30 to $30 EEK? Is it too weak to fold here? I'm relatively new to the table but from what I've seen Lootomo seems solid. I have a solid image as well. |

Re: Folding A Straight? 1/2
<font color="#FF4444">[*] </font> Preflop is bad. Unless the guys behind are very passive preflop either raise or fold.
Raise the flop, you don't want a 4th [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to peel off the deck. If someone gives you action you can still consider folding. The turn card is horrible, so folding seems quite standard. |
