OMG!

If I am button, you can guarantee I am shoving ATC here.

I'm usually tighter with my pushing range from Button with M=5 but I think I push top 60% or something like that.

So even against a very tight opponent who might only push top 40% this is a super-easy call.

I'm getting in line behind Sherman and BlueEcho, blunt object in hand. I'm partial to piano legs myself.

I'm not sure the pushing range of the button is ATC, but it's pretty damn close. You obviously crush his range.

More importantly, these 12/180s are such luckfests at the end that you need the biggest stack possible to withstand the inevitable race loss. In this case, if you call and win, you'll have that stack.

And if you call and lose, you'll still have 3BBs and won't be hit by the BB for several more hands, so someone will almost assuredly bust out before you and you will back into the lowest money level. And yes, I'm always playing to win and not just cash... but in the 180s, where the first money level is 18-10, getting to 9th when your shortstacked late is a tall order. So I think there are spots where just hanging on for the money is actually prudent. This is pretty much the only spot I'll ever resort to just trying to cash, though.

Matt

te worst part is I've been crushing them by making these plays whn they need to be made...only defenses are ysterday was a horrid day of bad beats.......and....and...I can usually crush them at this buy in late without risking such a large chunk...wow sounds horrible even as I type it..............

Not having read the other responses, and taking into account the fact that you're a much better player than I...

You suck.

Pushbot table says button is +EV to turn his cards face up and push anything down to T8o. Taking that as the bottom end of his range, we come up with:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 64.233% 62.42% 01.81% 2000801248 58154598.00 { AQs }
