NL 50: gutshot SFD in a 3bet multiway
What is hero's plan here? SB is 36/4/4 over 30; button is 35/27/5. I have seen nothing out of the ordinary from either.
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $52.45 BB: $55.40 UTG: $27.55 Hero (MP): $50.75 CO: $36.80 BTN: $52.05 Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, CO folds, BTN calls $2.00, <font color="red">SB raises to $4.50</font>, BB folds, Hero calls $2.50, BTN calls $2.50 Flop: ($14) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players) <font color="red">SB bets $5.00</font>, Hero ? |

I'd use your position and just call here. He's gotta be scared of a lot of cards on the turn which can get you to a semi-cheap showdown.

Re: NL 50: gutshot SFD in a 3bet multiway
The bet looks sort of weak, but it's hard to say in such a bloated pot (plus, that may be the impression SB is trying to give), and you're only about a coinflip with AsKc anyway. Plus, Button is a concern and I think I just call here.
It's a difficult spot. You've got a good but not great hand with lots of murky outs if behind, but you also have little room to maneuver with your chips since so much money went in preflop. |
