Default Live 6/12: QQ against a nit

Villain on my right is a dealer who just got off his shift. I've been playing with him for almost an hour and he's played like 2 pots.

UTG folds, Villain raises, Hero looks at QQ and raises....

Is there any way I could do anything but 3-bet here? How tight of a range would I have to put him on before I considered it? JJ+, AK? Even then, I have position and I'm pretty sure he won't outplay me after the cards are out. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think you can avoid the threebanger without a super read. Especially with just the two bet. If you had been, say, on the button and he three bet somebody then we have something to think about, MAYBE. You're in position, this is fine. You would have to have an extraordinary read or being playing against a really, really tight player and even then the three bet has value to fold out aces and kings behind you.

I’m definitely 3 betting here.

He is clearly tight, but having only played with the villain for an hour, he could have been card dead.

Unless you are psychic. Are you psychic? Can you really assign him a KK AA range after an hour of play? 3 bet all day.

The tightest I could go is AK and JJ+. It's absurd to rule out AQ, and he's probably raising TT as well. My question was....how tight would he have to be before I can dump or call this? What if his range is JJ+ and AK? Aren't I behind that range?

you still can't fold if that is his range.
