How can USNAV8OR bet when he folded last hand?
I'd shove here. I don't think your opponent has a straight or a Jack. I think pocket Tens and Kings are also unlikely. I also think that players may call with a two pair Js & Ks/10s. It also avoids giving free cards to a drawing hand. |

You have 7000 behind and a pot of 11000 and an over pair to the board. You can't get away from this hand so you might as well shove.
BTW, to avoid this sort of situation, think back to the flop. The pot is 3700 and you have 10,700. If you put any more money into the pot, you will be committed. I would have simply shoved the flop and prevented a tough decision on the turn (which isn't really that tough becaue you're not laying down now). Even though this HH is screwed up, we don't need to know who villain is or what his stack size is. |
