Default JJ on monotone flop

Villain is unknown. Are we behind his range here, since he was a UTG raiser?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $49.50
BB: $19.95
UTG: $58.95
CO: $49.25
BTN: $58.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG raises to $2.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $6.50, BB folds, UTG calls $4.50

Flop: ($13.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)

Yes. Villain could have QQ+ (and a diamond, leaving you in deep trouble), or could already have a hand like AQ, KQ, or AK diamonds, leaving you dead to runners.

Easy fold to me

You're way behind his range. The better hands for us in his range are AdKx or AxKd and we are only roughly 50/50 against those. Other hands have us killed. I think it is better to let this go.

Let this go for sure. People love to minraise to try to get weaker hands to call their monsters. Typically, any reraise on this flop is a tough one to call since there are SO MANY things that beat you. Plus, how are you going to play it on future streets? You really can't invest anymore money in this pot, even if a 4th diamond hits since you're definitely beat at that point too.

If you're opponent thought that you might be drawing to a flush and he held something like AA or a set, I'd assume he would raise more on the flop to kill your odds of drawing (though you can never tell why people do the things they do)
