I hit the Bad Beat Jackpot twice in the past 6 months.
Hello,
I hit the jackpot at Commerce 9/18 LHE twice in the past 6 months, both time i had the losing hand. The first time i hit it, villain and I both flopped set, and villain hit his 1 outer on the river to crack my As full. The second time i had Qs, and villain w/ AT flop trip, and turn quad. My question is, what are the chances of hitting it twice in such a short period of time. Does that mean i'm running really really bad or i'm getting really really lucky??

Sorry if I posted this into a wrong forum, please move me to the correct forum.
Both time I took a rain check after I hit it. But it wasnt a lot of money tho. Both time the jackpot was only 6k, I win $3600 each. Now a day I can kill the 2/5 5/10 in the east for that amount in a weak. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I'm not as bad-lucky as you...
in late 2006, i was involved in 5 bad beat jackpots, (1) got bad beat: my QQ vs AT, flop AAT, turn 8, river A (2) gave bad beat: i turned broadway and picked up a royal flush draw. Hit royal flush on river which gave someone Aces full of Kings (he was slowplaying AK). That was during their double-jackpot promotion. (3) two table shares (4) And in Omaha Hi-Lo, my straight flush beat quad T's but that was only $750 because the jackpot had recently reset. Oh, also won a $100 bonus at a different cardroom with Quad Aces. Only one bad beat table share so far in 2007. I took home cash for each bad beat but made sure to set aside enough to cover taxes.
