i would call this bet. the only hand I can put him on that beats you is k10. He might be trying to turn his A10 into a bluff. And i don't think he plays a set like this at all.

Thanks for the tips. I did call, only to look into a set of 2's...

I think a truckload of players at 25NL are slowplaying their sets and other big hands. I try to make notes about this since itīs a good tell. "Bets marginal hands and slowplays monsters". This dude was probably fishing for a c/r on the turn and was happy he made some mony on the river.

Fish start taking those lines when you check the turn a high % of the time. THey do it with a really dumb range like big hands/top pair/medium pair/some air. I usually just start betting the turn more often. It seems to work fwiw.

Would you bet the turn w/o hitting after he a called a decent bet on the flop? I figure this guy isnīt going away if he has a T or even a lower medium pair. Too many players call all the way even against strong betting. Normally I prefer to bet with any strong hand but c/c marginal hands and c/f if I donīt hit the turn.

on this board I would bet hands like 77-88 on the turn and some decent flush draws, but not AKo unimproved. Valuebet thinner on the turn basically.

I agree. However, I will close my eyes but probably make the rivercall next time as well
