Default a question for christians

Suppose that tomorrow it is discovered that Heaven and Hell really arent that different. Heaven has more of a cool layed back feel, and hell is just a little more edgy, but still a cool place to hang out. Both are desirable, but really arent all they are cracked up to be (oh and the devil isnt that bad of a guy either, bastard plays a mean ass fiddle.)

How do you live out the rest of your days? Do you start raping and killing at random?

No. That's a stupid question. If this is about atheists, then I agree that an atheist can be even more moral than a Christian.

What if it is discovered that heaven and hell are opposites? People who live virtuous lives are punished for eternity, while douche bags orgasim for eternity?

Same for me, except that I'd rape and kill just enough to guarantee me a spot in hell, and then would put my feet up and wait for death.

Of course, before I filled my quota, I'd be spending a lot of time avoiding getting raped and killed myself, so I'd have to work quickly in order to get enough raping and killing in to qualify for eternal bliss before someone eventually killed me.

Oh, and this is a terrible thread.

You do know that heaven and hell aren't about what you do in life. Right?

Virtous has no meaning unless you compare it to something. If there is a divine being rewarding raping and killing and punishing "virtous" lives. Then raping and killing would have to be considered moral and being "virtous" would be immoral.

Christians are basically immoral people. If it weren't for their fear of God they would be out there performing evil deeds.
We atheists are much nicer people than Christians.
