KK against nit, cr on flop
villain is 12/11/2.7 over 170 hands - against most players this is an easy call, but given the villains numbers, and the way this hand played out, is there anyway I can fold this?
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $176.20 BB: $107.65 UTG: $98.50 Hero (MP): $89.50 CO: $65.15 BTN: $99.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG raises to $3.50, Hero raises to $12.00, 4 folds, UTG calls $8.50 Flop: ($25.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG checks, Hero bets $17.00, UTG raises to $76.50, I'm showing a lot of strength 3 betting an utg raiser, and he comes over the top on the flop. Is there anyone out there that could fold this? |

Re: KK against nit, cr on flop
If villain plays as nitty as you suggest then
equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 86.658% 83.85% 02.81% 14112 472.50 { QQ+, 88-77, AcKc, AcQc, KcQc } Hand 1: 13.342% 10.53% 02.81% 1773 472.50 { KhKs } fold ... |

Re: KK against nit, cr on flop
if you're not calling the raise, i'd check behind on the flop...fwiw, i doubt 77-88 is in his preflop UTG raise and call.

Re: KK against nit, cr on flop
adding AQo to the poker stove equation brings it to about 70-30 in favor of villain. I was getting 2:1 and I did call the raise.

Re: KK against nit, cr on flop
definitely definitely check this flop.
as played...go get a beer and then fold, just to make the nit all giddy thinking you might call/shove...because youre dead to a K and you can chuckle when you think of Nielso's sad little face as he asks himself why solid players never pay him off. |
