Default I need some help making jello

"insert witty response here"

I really have a question though. It is Jello custard pudding, the expiration date is Feb 02.
but it is just dry powder, I'm thinking it is still ok, I can't imagine what can go wrong with it. Any Clark Griswolds in the house?

hyde,

mix it with alcohol. that way you'll kill any critters that are multiplying very rapidly in it.

Pudding is like a $1 a box? Is it worth saving a dollar to do a biology experiment on what actually exists in a 4-year old pudding box?

Mmmm, custard shots... No, wait, that's gross.

Try and find some old milk to make it with and maybe it will cancel out. Post trip report while recovering.

Just eat it. Expiration dates are estimates anyway, and at the very worst it will give you a mild stomach ache. And it's only a month past, which is nothing for a dried good like custard mix, even if it does have evaporated milk.

as to the acusation of being cheap:
the nearest store is 11 miles away, my truck gets 14 miles to the gallon, add on wear and tear and I think we are talking $5.00+, in addition to that it sucks a non-retrievable 50 minutes out of my life.
Plus as a good american consumer...I WANT IT NOW!!!!

Everyone's missing the obvious questions...

Where was this 4 year old box of pudding hiding and how did you find it?
