Holdem Hawk and other Poker Calculators

When I first started playing Omaha I used use Poker Pal as a rough aid and it did help me out a bit. I didn't bother with it after a few months of play. Now I've started dabbling in Limit HoldEm for the first time in a while. I wanted to check if I was missing out on any software aid. I spotted Holdem Hawk but I note it is banned on Poker Stars. I play primarily on Party, IPoker and Ongame so that doesn't concern me so much but I don't want to contravene any of these sites conditions.

So firstly anyone know if this program is against these sites rules?
Secondly is the program any good?
Lastly are there other better options than this?
