big slick - i fold tptk in a RRed pot
villain is 15/8.7/2.4 over 2k hands - he's never really done anything tricky afaik (so he doesn't have JJ here for example)- so he's pretty straight forward imo
gimmeeeee a better line i'm running tight atm no reads on villain relevant to this situation Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) keikiwai (SB): $382.85 BB: $197.00 UTG: $275.85 MP: $301.55 CO: $364.30 BTN: $177.55 Preflop: keikiwai is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG raises to $8.00, 3 folds, keikiwai raises to $28.00, BB folds, UTG calls $20.00 Flop: ($58) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) keikiwai checks, UTG bets $45.00, keikiwai calls $45.00 Turn: ($148) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) keikiwai checks, UTG bets all-in for $202.85, keikiwai folds Pot Size: $350.85 ($3 Rake) |

Re: big slick - i fold tptk in a RRed pot
Why would you flat call preflop, because he raised utg? I'm not sure flat calling is a better way to play because then we're basically trying to hit an ace or a king and even then not being sure of ourselves...

nh. I like the c/c on flop. On the turn we can't be good.

Re: big slick - i fold tptk in a RRed pot
ehhh i cant figure out a better line but doesn't he have AK here like >50% of the time. IMO dont those 1/2 nits 4 bet AA almost all the time and i dont think most would just push the turn with QQ here. i just feel like were getting bet off the chop too much of the time here.

Re: big slick - i fold tptk in a RRed pot
b/f flop please. I really hate your line. Also, if you bet flop, and he calls, c/f on all other streets essentially (unless something drastically changes.)

You've induced a bluff. You have to call.

[ QUOTE ] not a big fan of preflop [/ QUOTE ] this seems results oriented [/ QUOTE ] Not really. AK doesn't exactly have a super tight guy's utg raising range crushed here. That said, sometimes I three bet, sometimes I call and I don't think that either are bad as long as you're doing both some of the time. OP - this hand is well played. |
