Re: SB completed - two pair on flop
I'd 3-bet him on the flop with all the str8 & FD out there. Bet bottom 2 strong & put the decision on him.

Re: SB completed - two pair on flop
I'm reraising here to at least $9. Looks like he's protecting top pair. I don't want UTG to hang around and make this 3 handed. Draw heavy board- I want to take down pot before scare card comes and faced with tough decision. Unless he has a better 2 pair or set- you're way ahead so price out the draws and maybe the top pair will hang around.

[ QUOTE ]
Make it 10 on the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Agree. As played: UTG is screaming: "I got a FD, please let me draw" It is time to raise on the turn imo. J9 just hit, but the FD is a bigger part of his range, because of the openlimp. They do it more often with suited hands. Raise it to 12$ on the turn, and push any blank river. I think check-calling is so weak on that board. You should remember whenever you hit twopair with your suited-connectors/gappers, play it really fast, someone else could have a straightdraw and you lose a big pot. |
