Please do not spam WPEX here. There is a thread in the zoo just for this.

Default Mod abuse of power.

Wow, one straightforward, informational post about the current bonuses at WPEX, (which have changed since my last post on the issue), on the Internet Bonuses board, (which is surely the correct board for such information), and you delete it and chastise me for spam.

The thread in the Zoo is for ongoing discussion of WPEX issues and will never be looked at by someone who is unfamiliar with the site.

I think you are out of line and abusing your mod powers in this case. Not sure what your problem is ... I suspect an over-investment in the affiliate perspective.

Yeah my over investment in my volunteer job. I delete two of these a week except yours even had a link in it. If you feel I was in the wrong feel free to go to ATF or RTR. My decision was my own and I feel it conforms with the forum rules. If RTR or 2+2 have a different opinion I'm happy to abide by their rules. I'm guessing it is ultimately up to the forum sponsor to decide, I'm just the volunteer mod that deletes spam.

If the WPEX spam had not been so overwhelming for so long I'm sure we would all have a different feeling about it. They have 75% rakeback and aces never lose, we all know that and IMO we don't need linked up spam to tell us it one more time.

From the rules:

[ QUOTE ]
Note: SPAM includes, but is not limited to, referral links, referral codes, and generally anything where you receive a benefit from someone taking advantage of an offer.

[/ QUOTE ]

The link to wpex contained no referral code, and gave no benefit to me other than maybe helping get a game going there down the road, so it didn't occur to me it would be a problem. If you intend that no links to any poker or casino site are allowed, then you should change the rules to reflect that intention.

There is no thread in this forum about the current bonus at wpex, and I think it is an appropriate place for there to be one. The forum sponsor can apparently chose to prevent that though. I'll check with them.

The rules also say:

[ QUOTE ]
Please do NOT post conversations about RakeBack.

[/ QUOTE ]

Which my post was in violation of. I thought since it's automatically given to all players it wouldn't hurt to talk about it, since it is in effect a never ending bonus not subject to the negotiations and restrictions of rakeback at other sites. Technically, though, I guess my post was in violation.

I really doubt it's accurate to say that every browser of this forum is familiar with WPEX's latest incentives.

I do not know who/what ATF is, can you explain? Is there a local rep of RTR to ask about this, or should I go through their website?

Nevermind about RTR, I found their user name. Still curious about ATF, though.

It's another 2+2 forum: About The Forums, under the first grouping, "Two Plus Two".

I am sure there are new 2+2 members who are interested in info like this, I have no personal gain from it being posted, as the $5000 overlay tournaments run 3 times a week could get more players, but there is a difference between a player making a post and an affiliate or site employee.

So please reinstate post.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliaton whatsoever with WSEX, or WPEX, I do enjoy playing there due to their good offers though.
