What's up with the small bets? Trying to look weak and make him come over the top?

I think I play it the same, though I think betting this river may be right. The 6 probably didnt help me and I would assume that I have the best hand. But I dont know if this supports checking or betting.

I'd bet a little more on the flop, and a lot more on the turn.

275-300 on the flop for me. If you think you were ahead on the flop, you are still ahead on the turn. Go get it.

I was trying to put him on a hand that would min bet and the call a raise from me then flat call my flop bet. I was really worried he had two pair here.

i'd raise more pf. up to t200 i think. you may end up with one less caller than way, which i think makes the hand easier to play. but generally, like Melchiades said, bigger bets throughout.
