25NL: Top 2 Pair Vs dangerous board
Villain seems pretty tag-ish so far. (13/6) over 140 hands.
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) CO ($10.35) Button ($8.55) SB ($9.50) Hero ($24.30) UTG ($17.30) UTG+1 ($18.25) MP1 ($13.65) MP2 ($21.85) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 raises to $1, CO calls $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.75, MP1 folds. I'm not a huge fan of raising a raiser AND a caller with AK OOP, so I decided to see a flop for a call and see what happened. Flop: ($3.35) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP2 bets $2.5, CO folds, Hero raises to $8, MP2 calls $5.50. I hit top 2 pair on a crazy board, so I check to see who bets and then raise with top 2 pair. Turn: ($19.35) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) I get flat called by the original raiser (which I don't like) and am left OOP on the turn Hero? What now? Comments on flop play are welcome...and yes, I'm aware that 3 betting pre-flop would've made this much easier...but most of the time, the flop will miss me and I can get out cheap. |
