Shorter stacks in a low buy in tournament. I see no problem with this.

sb isleading 3/4 pottish which shows lots of strength so the only hand i have crushed is 77 and flipping against big Axhs. coupled with this we have mp2 the initial pfr behind us. generally i would only shove here if i was closing the action and hu. also i dont think shoving pre is ever bad in this spot with these stacks.

call preflop, fold flop, original raiser behind, sb betting, why would 88 be good i dont know.

88 is really not a good hand to bring to the flop OOP at BB in a raised pot.
