I decide he can have basically any 2 pair (besides AK), and I wanna protect my hand vs CO, so I 3 bet, even though getting 4 bet by QJ will be gross. They both call.

EP checks, hero bets, CO raises! EP folds his K9 face up. Hero thinks it's basicaly impossible for CO to not have 78 or someother weird hand that beats me. CO has been aggro in the past, but I haven't seen him bluff much, and he's not really stuck or anything.
