General c bet questions
Assume villains are unknown.
Preflop HJ limps, Hero raises with T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in sb, bb calls, hj calls. Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ok to c/f? Similar spot Preflop Folded to hero on button, hero raises T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]m blinds call. Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] If you dont c-bet, what swings it to a bet for you? Would you bet with a BDFD, if there was no FD, or if the flop was QJx?

Both are pretty easy c-bets (b/c or b/f, read/action dependent) you only need to take it down right away 1 in 6, and given that this flop hit your raising range pretty believably, just the C-bet is close to neutral EV if not +, not to mention the value from FD/AX/JT/MidPP type hands.

sorry, makes no sense to me. when you're on the button you're playing against both blinds. meaning it's conceivable they both have 3x, and their ranges are just wider in general.
if you think i'm flat-out suggesting to bet from the button after two callers, you're wrong. i agree it is player dependent and i'd only bet vs. two really bad/loose players. my point is that, in general, vs. the same two players, i am more likely to bet on the button than in the small blind. you have the additional info which comes from their turn checks, and it is so much easier to deal with turn calls on the button, as well. if you're called at all, you get to check behind on the river. if you're called once from the sb, what do you do? check/fold? check/call? the situation is a bad one and discourages me from putting any more bets in after being called twice on the flop. again, assuming two flop calls on that board and assuming i'm putting a bet into the pot on the turn. i'd much rather do so from the button than the small blind. please explain how this could possibly be wrong.

An extensive reply to my two liner... but hey.
Well like you said you want to bet the TT, chk turn if called and then you will probly concince urself to call river when he bets. And he will cos he thinks u have Ahi. okSo why not chk flop, call turn or chk it again? and see what THEY do? If OOP we just bet cos thats what we do, if only one calls we bet again. (readless) if 2 call its usually over. on river i chk and feel... JT
