Re: Flush draw lots of people around
Bet around 25 on flop, but other than that looks good.

Re: Flush draw lots of people around
Interesting spot. My first instinct is to check the flop. Could be persuaded otherwise tho.

Re: Flush draw lots of people around
Why, it's a bluff vs 4 people. The fact that two of them checked means nothing at all. No one's folding an ace so we're trying to bluff out 22,44,55,66,77,99 and rarely TT-JJ all which we have tons of outs vs.

You can also often get to the river for the same price as checking and calling a turn bet. Hell you might even only get called by another flush draw and you've cleaned up your pair outs. |

Re: Flush draw lots of people around
K it's 2am and im going to bed but I'll try to explain my thinking before I leave
Balancing our range here is kinda overrated when it's A high. They expect us to bet with the top hands in our range but they'll still call. If we have 88 here we can expect to extract 2 or 3 streets of value versus an ace without having balanced it earlier. The only gain betting has is to fold out the hands that are very slight favourites vs us, and we really can't expect all 3 opps to have these exact hands often enough to make it profitable. Getting called by a flush draw doesnt really make any difference, theyre likely to be better than ours hence favourites. Hitting a pair on the turn is great if we checked the flop but doesnt really make a difference if we bet it since we're still behind most of the opponents flop calling/raising range. Except of flush draws exclusively but we cant exactly value bet the turn vs them when we hit one pair so it doesnt really matter, only thing it does is win us a slightler larger pot when we get to showdown without him either hitting a higher flush or pair or bluffing us on the river. |
