Default Big Pairs - how much to bet?

I'm sitting in a live $1/$2 NL game with a fairly loose crowd. I have $200 in front of me, and the rest of the table has between $100 and $200. They limp a lot, and 3 or 4 players call a raise to 3.5 or 4 times the BB consistently. I have been raising when I'm first into the pot to $20 or $25 to try to limit the field when I get JJ, QQ, KK, and AA. Is this too much? Should I be raising less to control the pot size? Should I be raising more? I still get some crazy callers!

raise the highest amount that you think people will call with worse hands.
