Is this really a standard call for you in all spots?

What are you doing in a HU pot;

3 5 9 rainbow board and he fires a 2/3 pot cbet?

Unless I had stats or a read that villain is unreasonably LAG preflop during early levels, I'd call and <gasp> play postflop.
