a lot of people that go several days without sleep like that can eventually suffer from sleep apnia(idk how you spell it), sleep deprivation(obviously), depression, etc..basically, if you go without sleep for extensive periods of time, you're body has a hard time getting back into a normal rhythm of sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up, etc.

if you were to go several days without sleeping, then just say, ok time to go to sleep, you'd have a hard time doing so..
