Default $50 NL 6 handed...good river fold of a set?

been playing pretty aggressive and geting hit by the deck...aside from betting too little on the flop how does my line look? Is the river fold a good one?

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players

Pre-flop: (6 players[) Hero is UTG with 5C 5D
Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB checks.

Flop: ($2.25) 5H 7D 2D (4 players)
BB checks
Hero bets $1.5
2 folds
BB calls

Turn: ($5.25) 6D (2 players)
BB bets $3 Hero calls

River: ($11.25) 4H (2 players)
BB bets $8
Hero folds
Uncalled bets: $8 returned to BB.

Results:
Final pot: $11.25

If we don't know the stack sizes it is not possible to have any kind of a view if the bet is "too little" or not. Main thing is not to put in one-third or more of your starting stack and then fold. If you did you're committed so all-in...

crap converter didnt put them in...he had a good amount behind but I covered by a lot

Very interesting but when you post it in the correct forum you might want to include stack sizes as without them I don't think you can answer the question properly.
