Default Opponents Hands

In all da forums and books I read it says you can see what your opponent had once the hand has been played. I was wonderin if any1 could help me out on how I can do this bcuz in hand history I can only see my own hole cards and not my opponents. I use pokerstars. Any help would b nice ty

You can only see your opponenet cards after a hand that has gone to showdown. In other words, a river bet was called or the river had no betting.

When someone hits the "fold" button during a hand, their cards are mucked and not available for viewing.
