UTG...the new cutoff?
i notice alot of raises from UTG later in tourneys and sng's lately and they're usually from the same seat. i tend to do it myself towards the end of sng's, but i normally have a hand when i do, otherwise i'm just pushing TRASH... so is it better to attack these for a min-bump, 3-bet or push... and what hand equity would you recommend pushing with. basically i'm looking for some attack/defense of my own attack strategery.... to quote pres. bush... cuz i wanna stay the course and not have a weak play picked off... i guess part of this question also should sort of include the BB steal push and how to avoid it or use it too. hell, i guess the title of this article should be "improving sengio's position play"
i'm a fairly tight/aggro player and usually play <5% of hands (normally waiting for premium stuff out of position) |

After reading the post (twice)...i now appreciate the irony in the reference to pres bush. |
