Default middle set OOP on the only board I flop sets on (super coordinated)

villian is 25/11/2, The only thing noteworthy ive seen him do is double barrell a couple times

PokerStars $0.50/$1.00 No-Limit Hold'em - 6 players
Hand Converter Tool from DeucesCracked.com

SB: $117.25
BB: $67.20
UTG: $212.95
MP: $125.70
CO: $100.50
Button: $167.55

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $4, MP folds, CO folds, Button calls $4, SB folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($9.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $8, Button raises to $24, ??

I should have figured out how to play this by now, but I haven't.

Two ways to play it:

1) Standard -- 3-bet flop to $75 and get the rest in on the turn.

Non-standardish Option -- If you do not think villain is drawing very often then call the flop and CR AI the turn. This is risky as you have to be certain that villain will always bet the turn. AA and KK will be hard pressed to find a fold.

AA and KK just call preflop often enough to make this worth considering here?

Reraise and commit yourself and him before the board goes to hell.

I dont love 3betting with these stacksizes. With 100bb I just shove it in on the flop.

Isn't any line that leads to a turn check pretty bad? Given that, isn't a 3b better than a sng?

This is where I'm at, too. I'll take my chances that he doesn't already have a made straight and hope he has enough to play for stacks. If he folds I'm not too disappointed.

Of course, since we're both deeper than standard, I have no idea what to do.
