Default QQ Deep in FT\'s 750k

Opponent is loose. I obviously considered pushing preflop, but I decided I was giving up equity since raising a smaller amount would absolutely get weaker hands to call.

Is this faulty thinking?

Then the flop comes with an Ace, and I'm in a terrible spot OOP.

Where did I screw up, and how do I proceed now?

it's a crappy spot but no way you can fold now imo. you have like a psb left. i'd check/call a shove or check/raise over a bet. at least that way you might induce a bluff sometimes but he's never folding an ace if you shove.

Betting likely gets him only to come along with aces and play close to perfect.

Check/pushing is the best option here next to the obvious weak/tight check fold, which is seriously a strong option.

Betting is the worst case here. I think check/push and hope he tries to stab at it with KQ,pairs, etc.

FWIW I think you get called by a ton of stuff if you jam preflop. Limpers who don't believe call with A10,all pairs,KQs even from my experience. I'd consider it.

My standard play here is just to shove preflop.

Though, what are people's thoughts on minraising and check/shoving most flops? Too fps'y?
