How often do you find yourself laughing out loud at something you honestly think is very funny. Not a courtesy laugh, a chuckle but true laughter.

I would say I chuckle a little bit several time a day. Usually 1-2 times a day on 2+2 alone. Probably a joke from a friend makes me chuckle once a day. Once a day for a TV show, and once a day for something random. So probably 4-7 chuckles a day.

Laughs?

Much fewer. I average 2-3 a week at most. 2+2 has only had me busting out laughing a few times (how many 5 year olds for one). I rarely laugh at TV shows, including family guy and my all time favorite the simpsons (Once ever 10 shows or so will I really laugh). Stand up comics rarely make me laugh, except Dave Chappelle. I laugh consistently through every dave stand up show i've ever watched. I laugh pretty hard the 2 and 3rd time through.

Family/friend jokes come through pretty often for this as well. Often it isnt even related to how funny the joke happens to be, it is more the atmosphere.

Average laughs ~ 2 a week.

Truth,

It is rare that I bust out laughing.

I chuckle a lot though.

A real, deeply-felt laugh is an awesome thing. Too bad they don't happen that often.
