Default AQo UI goes nuts

BB is 42/15/1.8/35
UTG (villain) is unknown

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $5/$10
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, 3 folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6.5SB, 3 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, BB folds, UTG calls.

i raise to drive out BB, possibly take a free card on the turn or bet the turn for a free showdown if i don't improve

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5.25BB, 2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, UTG calls.

i b/f for a free showdown

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7.25BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG bets</font>, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to UTG.

he sees i was not afraid of the second 8 yet still bets. i don't want to invest any more bets and fold.

Results:
Final pot: 7.25BB

this kind of thinking is not viable here since there's no reasonable hand you can have that beat trips on this board. Your hand doesn't look stronger in his eyes when you bet this turn.

BTW don't like the flopraise.

I like yor flop raise here and think your line is just fine. IMO folding river seems like the right move in a small pot like this though a decent read on the guy may shed some light on his play and want you to call

You took it this far, so call the river. He's betting busted flush draw enough of the time...
