Request: River Value Betting Post

Would one of the solid winning players please put together a post on river value betting?

I feel this may be one of my biggest leaks, and would love to go through 10 hands or more where we have a marginal (typically one-pair) type hand and aren't sure if we should bet the river or not. Other situations might be bigger hands (2pr/trips/etc) when a flush or straight completes.
