*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [Qh Qd]

UTG+1 folds
UTG+2 folds
UTG+3 folds
UTG+4 folds
VILLAIN calls $2
SB calls $1.75
*** FLOP *** [Jd 2h 4c]
SB checks
HERO bets $5
VILLAIN calls $5
SB folds
*** TURN *** [Jd 2h 4c] [8h]
HERO checks
VILLAIN bets $5
STEVO calls $5
*** RIVER *** [Jd 2h 4c 8h] [Ac]
HERO checks
VILLAIN bets $7
HERO calls $7
*** SHOW DOWN ***
VILLAIN shows [2c 2d] three of a kind, Twos
HERO mucks
VILLAIN wins the pot ($38.50) with three of a kind, Twos

Not sure if I made too many mistakes here- pf raise 4xbb then lead out on the flop a little less than the size of the pot
Checked/called the turn – intended to lead out on the river until the ace came
River was an obvious scare card, but I had to call – was kind of pot stuck
Mistakes?
Thoughts?

Just bad luck here. Lead the turn as whyzze said, and if he raises then it's time to re-evaluate and think whether you want to commit. Since the turn is innocuous, his raise would indicate extreme strengh, so folding might not be bad... but since you played this hand so passively, you really don't know where you stand.

Lead turn, fold to raise.
If called on turn, Check/fold river.

Thanks for the info guys
Rocket (or anyone who reads rocket's post)- should i check/fold the river because the ace came out there? Or would you recommend folding if a card that seemed to be a blank hit (i.e. 6s)?

Thanks again

Rebuy preflop. Sort a hand history converter out too. One hand, screw this. I would probs go broke here.

I think you should try to get the money in on the turn. Bet the turn and call a raise. All the people who say you fold to a raise haven´t paid any attention to stack-sizes as per usual and should be ignored. Getting the money in as a midstack with QQ is insanely standard and something you should strive for, not trying to avoid.
