Default 200 NL, AK TPTK gets raised on a dry flop.

Villain is a very solid 12/10 TAG. He's very aggressive when he plays a hand. I think he's a 2p2er. Hero is 20/14.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $207.55
BB: $200.00
UTG: $287.95
Hero (UTG+1): $214.65
MP: $236.05
CO: $197.00
BTN: $200.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $8.00, MP calls $8.00, 4 folds

Flop: ($19) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $14.00, MP raises to $50.00, Hero calls $36.00
I cannot fold here because there are so few hands he's representing (55 and 33 basically). I think he has air here a lot, so I call.

Turn: ($119) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, MP checks
No point in betting.

River: ($119) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks and plans to call.
A good river card. I don't want to bet because I think his range is extremely polarized. I don't think KQ/KJ are in his range (and he might not raise the flop with them anyway), so it's nuts or nothing.

I play it the same. What I do hate about these hands is this, when you say "plans to call", how large a bet? An all in?

I think the reasoning is solid. I'm happy to have Kd

where does the k of diamonds make a difference in this hand? can you explain? if he gets aggo on the river, he can still hold the A of diamonds?

Yeah probably, just because I don't want to be run over by other regs when I flop a good hand (it's rare for me cause usually I have nothing on the flop ).

Results: villain checked behind with 22 and MHIG.
