thanks- how can i run this with pokerstove? impossible?
if i add 89 and two random cards and i get over 30% chance vs both its a push?

dude thats not even close to how it works. you have folding equity, its a $ev spot, etc. you need sngpt or wiz for this and some intuition

I would push, unless you had a specific read that BB is calling really loose (like 30%+).

To work it out manually you would need an ICM calculator as well as pokerstove to convert stack sizes to EV. Then work out the weighted EV of pushing by first calculating the EV of each outcome (win/lose/steal) and then the corresponding probability of each outcome. Then compare this to the EV of folding (with its associated outcomes if you can be bothered).

Short Answer: Yes, its impossible for most people.

I am pushing any two cards in this spot, unless as IFold says, one of them has reads that I am showing ATC and is likely to call me down lightish (top 20-25%) ... however I was putting sb and bb on 15% each , and im not sure if that is acurate for the average player at the 16s
