Safe to play poker on unsecured Wireless connection?
I have to stay at my buddies house until the 22nd of this month. He has no internet since he uses his neighbors wireless connection.
I followed the "prevent hackers" thread and I have Bitdefender, Spybot, all the windows updates, etc. and I scan everynight. Am I at risk if I play online poker using this "stolen" internet connection through my Linksys Wireless-G adaptor? What can hackers do? How safe is Verizon's Broadband Wireless service? |

Re: Safe to play poker on unsecured Wireless connection?
Please try to use the search function at the top of the forum. There have been many, many posts about this in the past. If you still have questions that the search doesn't find, let us know.
(Short answer: You're probably safe.) |

Re: Safe to play poker on unsecured Wireless connection?
Try searching for "+wireless +safe" (without quotes) over the past month. There's three other times it's been asked in that timeframe.
