$114: 99 deep bubble
Nothing special about villain. Pushing seems too dangerous. Take a flop or just fold? AK or TT I'm thinking about taking a flop. Pushing JJ. Others?

i think its a fairly easy shove [/ QUOTE ] I agree, unless this guy is super tight and cant lay down a hand once he is in the pot. |

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
if villian opens top 25% (A2, 22 K9s KTo QTs) and only calls your push with TT AQ, then pushing is worth neg .1%.
if you can get him to fold TT and AQ, then pushing is .27%, but that does not seem likely. i think i only push vs a lag who you are confident is opening the button really wide. and 99 is gonna play so crummy postflop i dont mind a fold in this spot. you have a nice lead over 3rd/4th place stacks and i hate to give it up. |

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
my guess is that on the button villain is opening much more than top 25. you have FE because of the two shorter stacks at the table.
i wouldt take a flop with 99 as it rarely flops well and bascially know that button will follow up bet on the flop if he has hit or not. i deffinatly push/fold this. cant decide which though. im a 6.50 player so i dont know decent this advice is |

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
Taking a flop here is so hard to play profitably against a decent villain. He should be opening pretty wide and know that you're pushing pretty tight. I push.

Yeah, push it and ship the CL.

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
Cool. So I guess we're just pushing 99+ AK (AQ?). Not 88?

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
This is probably the single hardest situation I find in SNGs, just because when you shove you're risking so much equity, you have so many BBs, you have an edge over the field, and the villain (who has you covered) will basically play perfectly (he's never folding a better hand and never calling a worse one). That said, I think they open wide enough here to justify a shove with 99. I'd probably call hands like 22-88 and AQ/AJ just because you have set value for the lower pairs and you really can't fold AQ/AJ to 1 raise this deep. Obviously with AQ/AJ I'd play it very cautiously post-flop.

Re: $114: 99 deep bubble
If this is the 2nd time you've seen the villain raise to 600 on this bubble, I'd shove AQ/88/77, and call AT/AJ/KQ.
