Default flopping hands in steal spots and getting played back at

yet another spot i have a hard time getting used to. what should i be doing here (and in spots like this)? nothing seems right really. calling just leads to another decision on the turn, folding seems awful, raising pretty much commits me to a pot, where if all the money goes in i am not in great shape (i think?)....

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $67.40
BB: $91.95
UTG: $257.80
CO: $64.85
Hero (BTN): $99.50

Reads: no stats on villain, and i keep a decent database.

pretty new to table, nothing sticking out.

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.50, SB folds, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6.00, BB raises to $18.00

against somebody good who will just fire another barrel dont "call to reevaluate"... either call down another barrel, and possibly a third? but maybe thats pushing it (i do have 27% went to showdown)

against somebody who isn't aggro enough to fire a double barrel to exploit your "call and reevaluate" line....call and reevaluate.

Ok, so then we would what? Does that mean betting against a decent/aggro player was a mistake in the first place?

I probably call this and push a blank turn. Unless you're planning to push a blank turn you should def fold the flop, folding the flop is actually fine until you get a read on villain.

well, readless, i'm folding.

With read that he's views me as tight, but cbetting alot, and he's a player, i'll call his raise and take normal time and call most turns.

If he's type who wont follow through, i'll call flop and fold to decent turn bet.

I think you're ahead of the average unknowns range here. I probaly call and shove/ bet a safe turn.

vs an unknown I think it's best to fold.

Having said that I normally just stack off.

those saying stack off should explain in what way they would stack off (3ball, raise turn, call turn/river)
