My reasoning was thus:

The button had 1.0 flop aggression factor so I assumed he would not call $4 raise unless he had something. And the short stack had less than $4 left and I hoped he would think I was bluffing having a 9 and would call with his missed cards... can't recall he stats exactly but his VPIP was 25 over a small sample size. Bad play?
