Default 100r hand vs mmanstatus

Me and mike know each other friendly at table rarely clash since we tend to be tighter when one enters the pot. A hand happened 3 hands prior to the one in question where I think it has an important impact on the current dynamics.

He raised utgI flatted utg+2, he c-bet a Q93 flop with Q3 of a suit turn was another q he cbet 3k into like a 6k pot I shoved for 8500 and he folded.

I think we both had 20k going into this hand he had me maybe by a few k,

He opens otb to 1k at 2/4/ I elect to call with KJhh

flop is Js10hxs (x is a card between 2-5). I check he fires 1500 I call.

Turn Qs whats our plan pot is rougly 5k effective behind is 17.5k.

You should probably just get it in on the flop.

we have 20K (BTW, not paying attention to stack sizes is an alarming new HSMTT trend - please stop it, people)

anyway, I'm in the check/something camp too. I hate folding but I hate calling a real bet even more and we have no plan on any particular river/probably aren't getting paid off if we hit.

actually, having thought about it for another few secs, I think I can see a bet 3K/fold plan here and it's probably better than any of the alternatives.

Serge do you think the fact of the prev hand where I flat called PF and shoved turn has an effect to reduce his 2 barreling without a strong hand here?

Who's mmanstatus? Is he good?

I like c/f against a good player here. He shouldn't be betting often.
