Default enough action

I open 77 somewhere in MP and get 2 cold-callers along with sb who was sb in previous post.

Flop: A92r

check, I bet, 2 calls, sb crs, all call.

turn:7 completes rainbow

sb bets, i think about just calling, but decide to raise, button ccs, sb 3 bets, I 4-bet, button folds, sb calls.

River:K

sb donks, I raise, he 3bets, call or raise?

Yeah obv flop is pretty loose, but on such a dry board I figured at least 2 aces were out and if I hit my set on the turn getting like 16 to 1 plus implied odds it seems closer.

Maybe check flop?

fold the flop. Turn cap is questionable. Also: DO NOT RAISE THAT RIVER, SIR. A single raise was bad. Even considering 4 betting it is just awful. I'm not trying to be rude here, but you really need to have a read that villain thinks 2 pair is the nuts, before you go hog wild with the 2nd worst set in a live game.

Online, you can go more bets with sets vs. the average player, but the average live player doesn't really give you this much action with a worse hand often enough to justify all the raising you are doing.

I don't get why you call the flop raise here - easy muck in my opinion. As played, unless SB is a lagtard I'm not raising the river - he has 99 or slowplayed KK or AA too often.

It kind of skews it but when he donks that river he's looking to raise, most likely it's with a better hand. You definitely have to call the 3bet, not fold and not raise.

Also everyone of course he should call the flop when he's goign to spike his 2 outer.

There is no cap head up. Also, I didnt 4bet the river, but the fact that he didnt reraise the turn but donks the river makes this seem like AK alot more than any set.

I dont know how anyone couldnt raise the river here. My first reaction to the action was AK as well, so i raise and call three most of the time. I would also consider 4 bets depending on how dumb this guy is. Really I only fear a set of 9's here.

After I have 4 bet the turn there is no legit reason for him to stop raising with AA. Also, to stop raising with 99 and donk when the K comes doesnt make sense either.
