Tuning Windows Vista (Mac mini/parallels)

I've done a bit of searching, but found nothing but some good guides on turning off a bunch of junk in XP. I'm running Vista on a Mac mini/intel solo/2gig ram. Bogs down if I try to use the HUD on 4 tables with PT running, so I'm looking for tips to slim it down. I'm trying to get to 6 tables.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to see if this will work for me, or if I need to go out and spend the 1k bucks or so to get a PC.

Any parallels tricks to make it run sweeter would be nice too.
