Default 3bet pots are fun...

NOT

Villain is agrstremist. He is a good TAG, capable of pulling moves and we've been going at it a bit.

at a different table I stacked him with 66 in a 3bet pot. The board was T75 or the like, he bet on the flop I called. Turn was a total blank, he bet 90 i shoved for 40 more, he calls with AK and misses on the river.

SO he probably thinks I'm too loose, calling down light etc although my PF stats have been pretty tight.

Is this too weak tight? also, do u guys ever check the flop.

I'm not 3-betting this pre against a solid TAG.

As played, I like the flop lead, but IP I'd check behind quite a bit.

Turn is a fold.

What? This read means we should be more inclined to fold, not less.

I guess I'm not understanding the situation correctly. If I just played a re-raised pot w/ villain in which he put his entire stack in the pot on multiple streets w/ ace high, and i stacked him w/ a hand as weak as a pair of 6's, then, yeah, I wouldn't think this turn is an autofold.

I guess if villain is definitely tightening up to take advantage of his crazy image, then folding seems ok.

in general people are less likely to make big bluffs soon after they get caught making a big bluff.

So you think "a good TAG" is going to float us in a RR'd pot when he knows we're capable of calling him down light?

EDIT: comment was directed a cfb, not pepper

No, but i think he could be value betting lighter. That would be really thin, however. 77, 88, 99? Probably more likely that he checks those behind, especially w/ the turn being a 10. Betting would be bluffing, not value betting, i suppose.

I understand why the turn is a fold.
