i fold preflop and call MP's turn 3-bet. as played, there's really no river decision to make. i call the turn 3-bet because 3 queens are accounted for and both players just called your flop bet.

I wouldn't cap the turn. MP 3 bet an UTG raise PF, not too many worse Qs do that. I also sort of expect them to get more aggro with top pair on the flop, so I think there's a decent chance a set is out. Plus if UTG is making a move with worse than a queen we don't mind going for the overcall.

As played he'd have to be a major donkey to think you'd cap the turn with less than AQ, and even if he has KQ it's looking like even combos vs 77.

I'm fine with pf. I would also call the turn.

Also, I agree with what everyone else said. Call 3 bet, call river. Another benefit to calling the turn is that UTG might come along for 1 more with a hand like KK or JJ.

lolotrickedu.

Seriously though, I just needed to convince myself that the NL players on this forum really, really, REALLY suck at LHE - and the above thread does just that.

I'm raising this river and winning most of the time and chopping at worst. No way MP has a set, imo. He probably has weaker Q and 3-bet preflop shorthanded w/KQ, QJs, or some garbage. Retards abound at 10/20 - this is an easy river raise...

Turn: we are facing two reraises - not just one. That very intimidating and I fear that MP was doing some isoraising with his 77's preflop. I would just call down from the 3bet on the turn.

Yep, I was wondering if that hand would make it over to the strat forums. Pretty funny responses in BBV.

Anyway, I think the fact that bk's hand was played at 100/200 changes the proper decision somewhat.
