Default QQ flop comes a k

I seem like I am finding myself in this situation more often than usual over the last couple months. After 3 betting pre flop out of position with QQ and Ace and King flop. Of course I lead and get called. What line do you take at this point, and why?

Why are you betting the flop? Honest question.

Depending on the opponent, c/c flop and c/f turn or c/c flop, c/c turn, c/f river. It'd have to be a very strange player for me to c/c down.

If he checks behind the flop or bets the flop and checks behind the turn you're just stuck having to play poker.

After 3 betting out of the small blind to hijack or button raise, I will always lead out. You get a fold enough times right then and there. It is when the continuation bet is smooth called that I feel stuck.

Seems pretty easy to check fold vs most players. Occasionally they will be peeling with a gutshot or whatever, but I think you are toast way too often when your flop bet is called.

Edit: I think c/c on the flop would be pretty retarded.

What hands that beat you are you expecting to fold from your continuation bet? What hands that you beat are you expecting to call? You should have a good answer to either of these questions of you want to bet that flop.

wow some pretty bad advice in here. with 99-JJ, tie with QQ, AQ and AQs all out there, the combinations of hands we're currently behind isn't that bad. I'm generally much more worried about the A high flop then the K high. Going to get crushed check folding this kind of texture. Players with 22-88 are going to start running you over...

LOL, I think I misunderstood OP. I thought the situation was QQ on a AKx flop.

actually after reading your post, I reread the OP's post. He does say Ace and King. not sure how I missed that. In that case it tends to be a little more difficult. We're still ahead of a % of the villains range, but I agree that it tends to be tougher. I'll still bet out though.
