Calling a madman with AQo
I don't have the actual HH but it is simple enough to explain.
The guy at the table has been playing like a madman. Going all in nearly every hand. In most cases everyone folded. Finally someone called him and he showed A8o. He lost half his stack. A few hands later he pushed and I held AQo. He had me covered (just). Call or not? I am not in a desperate situation at all. Stack size - blind size ration is still massive. Still before the first break and I am in the middle of the field. On the other hand this looks like a perfect place to double up. |

Re: Calling a madman with AQo
Assuming noone else has shown any interest in the hand it seems like an easy call - cEV & $EV haven't diverged much & it's very ++cEV ==> easy +$EV
